Where to Watch iCarly – Reboot and Original

You can watch both iCarly and the iCarly reboot on Paramount Plus, one of the foremost streaming platforms today. All you need is a subscription, and your fears about where to watch iCarly will disappear.

Why Did the Reboot Get Canceled?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Paramount Plus has officially canceled the iCarly reboot after just three seasons. A spokesperson from Paramount Plus told EW that “iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season…the series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity, and talent.”

Parts of the cast were grateful for getting to participate in the reboot, but still mourned the loss of the show. Nathan Kress, who played Freddie, was one of these people, and hopes that someday we will find out how the story ends between all of the characters.

iCarly was an amazing show when I was younger, and I have a lot of fond memories of watching Carly, Freddie, and Sam as they made crazy fun shows. It’s amazing that Paramount was able to create a reboot of the nostalgic show, and I think I can agree with Nathan Kress when I say I am grateful we got to see Carly and Freddie not only grown up, but together and in love. If you enjoyed watching the original show, make sure you tune into where to watch iCarly on Paramount Plus and watch the reboot, even if there are only three seasons.

Is the New iCarly Kid-Friendly?

The content, along with the characters, is more grown-up than the original series of iCarly. There are more innuendo, language, and alcohol, and some of the characters mention “sleeping with” other characters and using swear words like “damn,” and “ass.” If you have younger children, maybe have them wait until they are a little older.

Why Isn’t Jeanette McCurdy in the new iCarly?

In her memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died, McCurdy explained she was, in fact, approached by Cosgrove to return for the reboot as Sam. McCurdy ended up turning down the offer because she was finally in a happy and good mental place, and did not want to compromise that by returning to acting.

Where to Watch iCarly Season 2?

You can stream the second season of iCarly on Paramount Plus, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. But the only place you can watch all of the seasons of the original and reboot is on Paramount Plus with a subscription.

iCarly is one of the greater kids shows from the mid-2000s/early 2010s era, in the same rankings with Victorious and Sam & Kat. With hilarious stunts in each show, memorable characters, and always something new happening to Freddie, Sam, and Carly, you never tired of watching a new episode. This is the same feeling I get when I watch the iCarly reboot seeing all of the familiar characters, only just a bit older, like me. If you haven’t take some time to watch iCarly, and hopefully you enjoyed our where to watch iCarly article.
