Apple TV+ picked up the relatively unknown Dan Erickson workplace thriller Severance in 2019. The show is yet to have a release date, but is expected in early 2021.

Apple TV+ launched in November 2019, and its shows instantly impressed me, despite early trailers making the streaming service appear social-agenda heavy. Instead, shows like See, The Morning Show, and Servant kept me coming back weekly to watch every episode.
