Originals In June

Swaggy-D picked out two Netflix Originals in the podcast. The first was Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, a movie about a squad of soldiers returning to Vietnam to find the body of their squad leader and hidden treasure. If the movie is as eclectic as the trailer, it’s going to be one wild ride. Check out the trailer below:

The second Original picked out by Swaggy-D was Olivier Megaton’s The Last Days of American Crime. A Netflix movie set in a future where the U.S. government is about to broadcast a signal that paralyzes people from committing criminal acts. As it has Sharlto Copley (District 9, Elysium), consider us intrigued.

The Last Days of American Crime is available from June 5, and Da 5 Bloods launches June 12.

Top Picks In June

During the podcast, TC picks out the Garth Brooks‘ documentary called The Road I’m On as the show he’s most looking forward to watching this month. If you’re a big fan of Garth Brooks (or know nothing about him like Swaggy-D), check out the trailer below:

Swaggy-D’s top pick was Da 5 Bloods but as that’s covered above, we’ve added the movie he was most gushing about, and that was V For Vendetta. During the podcast, he calls it an all-time great, with exceptional dialogue, acting, and action.
