30. Elle Driver, Kill Bill
Elle Driver may be beautiful, but out of all the blonde movie characters on this list, she is one of the most deadly. Appearing in the film series Kill Bill, Driver was a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, known by her code-name “California Mountain Snake.” Her iconic look is punctuated with an eyepatch over her right eye and a penchant for fights. She lost her right eye to master Pai Mei after calling him a “miserable, old fool.”

29. Astrid, How to Train Your Dragon
One of the most iconic blonde movie and television characters in animation is Astrid Hofferson, one of the main characters in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. Astrid is hard-working, steadfast, and loyal to her friends and her dragon Stormfly, making her a true Viking warrior. Starting as acquaintances, Astrid slowly comes to like and love Hiccup Haddock, which is one of my favorite love stories in animation.
28. Cindy Lou Who, Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss fans will rejoice to see sweetheart Cindy-Lou Who on our list of blonde movie characters, originating from the storybook How the Grinch Stole Christmas and appearing in several film remakes. Cindy-Lou is a small girl who lives in Whoville and slowly convinces the Grinch that Christmas isn’t so bad, changing the size of his heart. In the 1966 cartoon, she was voiced by June Foray, and in the 2000 live-action film she was portrayed by Taylor Momsen.

27. Brienne of Tarth, Game of Thrones
Formidable in both height and strength, Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones is a worthy addition to our blonde movie characters list. Brienne of Tarth is a knight of House Tarth and the sole surviving child of Lord Selwyn Tarth of Evenfall Hall. She was the first woman of the Seven Kingdoms to become a knight, taking to martial activity as a child due to her unusual height and musculature. Brienne of Tarth may have not been the main character, but she sure has stuck in our minds for years after the show premiered.

26. Sue Sylvester, Glee
If you’ve seen Glee, then you’ll recognize Sue Sylvester. She held many roles in the show, from being the former coach of the McKinley High School cheerleading club to the founder of the Muckrakers Club and the Old Maid’s Club. Sue Sylvester was determined to destroy the school’s glee club, the New Directions, and their teacher Will Schuester. While her plans either failed or didn’t go how she planned, Sylvester eventually learned to make peace with the club and terrorized the students no more.
25. Cinderella, Cinderella
Our first selection on our blonde movie characters list is Cinderella, the first blonde Princess to be featured in a Disney film. Cinderella is the perfect example of the downtrodden still finding their way to a happy ending, and my favorite line comes from the 2015 version when Cinderella’s mother tells her “Have courage and be kind.”

24. Alice, Alice in Wonderland
Have you ever fallen down the rabbit hole? Our twenty-fourth blonde movie character Alice certainly did to reach Wonderland. She is most famously known for meeting quirky characters like the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, and of course the Queen of Hearts. All because she followed a sneaky rabbit who was “late for a very important date.”

23. Tinker Bell, Peter Pan
A somewhat spiteful but loyal pixie, Tinker Bell is always by Peter Pan’s side on the Island of Lost Boys. She earns the twenty-third spot on our blonde movie characters list and is one of the first major blonde characters in Disney. Though many iterations have been made of Tinker Bell including her with different colored hair, there is something special about this pixie.
22. Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty
My favorite Princess when I was little, Aurora is one of the staple blonde movie characters from the early Disney era. Sent away from her family to protect her after she was cursed by Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty ended up finding true love in the woods and was saved from sleep by Prince Phillip.

21. Sandy Olsson, Grease
Australian transfer student-turned-greaser girlfriend, Sandy Olsson is one of the staple blonde movie characters on our list. Sandy has a whirlwind romance over the summer with a greaser Danny, and ends up staying longer than she planned. It takes a little bit for the couple to come back together, but the ending scene when Sandy appears in a black leather jacket is iconic to say the least.

20. C.J. Parker, Baywatch
First portrayed by Pamela Anderson and later Kelly Rohrbach in the 2017 film, Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker was one of the most popular and longest-serving characters in the five seasons of the hit show Baywatch. Famous for the slow-motion running scene, C.J. is a staple in a lot of adult’s hearts.
19. Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Anime
Though I am not a huge fan of Manga, there is a huge following for the Sailor Moon series, and Sailor Moon herself. In the TV series, Sailor Moon is a teenage girl who learns of her destiny as the legendary warrior (Sailor Moon), and bands together with other Sailor Scouts to defend both the Earth and Galaxy.

18. Sarah Sanderson, Hocus Pocus
One of the three eccentric witches in Hocus Pocus, Sarah Sanderson is the only blonde in the trio. Though she is not the smartest of the three, her enthusiasm makes her an entertaining witch who always falls a little short of her goals. Sarah Sanderson can also be seen in the newer film Hocus Pocus 2.

17. Rachel Green, Friends
My friend is a huge fan of the show Friends and it’s no wonder why with our seventeenth choice for the blonde character being one of the showrunners. Rachel Green started off the show as a naïve runaway bride who reunites with her childhood friend Monica in NYC, and gradually goes from a spoiled “daddy’s girl” to a successful businesswoman by show’s end in 2004.
16. Cher Horowitz, Clueless
Popular and somewhat dippy, Cher Horowitz from Clueless is our sixteenth choice for iconic blonde characters, who use her social status and skills to aid others. Though her crusades are not always successful, Cher must learn that her judgment is not infallible and that instead, she should be improving herself.

13. Catherine Willows, CSI
Crime show enthusiasts will love our thirteenth choice on our favorite blonde characters list — Catherine Willows from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The character is based off of real-life forensics officer Yolanda McClary of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, and McClary even met with actress Marg Helgenberger to make sure the blonde character would represent an actual forensics expert.

Though I am not a Ravenclaw, I love Luna Lovegood in the films. Her quirkiness can only be truly appreciated by Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and aids her in helping the crew defeat Voldemort at the end of the film series. Her blonde hair is one of her most defining characteristics, other than the glasses she uses to try and find Nargles.
10. Regina George, Mean Girls
“On Wednesdays we were pink.” And on SnipDaily, we talk about Regina George from Mean Girls. The main piece of the Plastics, Regina needs control and has a broken childhood friendship with Janis who returns to high school. Full of quick barbs and impeccable style, you see at least one person dressed as Regina for Halloween.

Many people would be shocked that I haven’t seen this popular show, but still know that Serena van der Woodsen is very popular in the TV show world, and blonde characters as well. Featured on the blog of the mysterious narrator, Serena is known as the “it girl of Manhattan” and seems to get whatever she wants with her beauty and personality.

Though she is not a genius physicist like the friends she hangs out with, Penny is the balance between complete nerdiness and “normal” people for the rest of the Big Bang Theory crew. 7. Rapunzel, Rapunzel
“Rapunzel, let down your hair.” Our seventh blonde beauty is no other than Rapunzel, with enough blonde hair to cover the rest of our choices in this list. Being our last Disney Princess on this list, Rapunzel is taken away from her parents as a baby by an evil witch, until she meets Flynn Rider and gets the opportunity to explore the world and finally find her lost family.

6. Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones
This extremely popular series sits on my bookshelf waiting to be read, and within Game of Thrones is one of George R. R. Martin’s finest creations, Daenerys Targaryen. Also known as “the mother of dragons,” Daenerys is a prominent point of view character in the series, and one of the most popular characters by fans, and for good reason. Her love for dragons allows her to dominate battlefields and become a real force in the fight for the throne.

5. Jane Foster, Thor
One of my favorite Marvel characters is Thor, so of course I am going to love the quantum scientist Jane Foster, also known as Thor’s girlfriend. Appearing in three out of the four Thor films, Jane Foster goes from mere scientist to The Mighty Thor, taking Mjolnir and fighting against the dangerous God Killer.
4. Harley Quinn, Suicide Squad
A little crazy, Harley Quinn finds herself at the number four spot on our iconic blonde movie characters list. Appearing in several films, Margot Robbie’s character personifies the blonde ideology, while still kicking butt and keeping her dangerous personality front and center.

3. Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel
One of the main female Marvel superheroes, Captain Marvel is our last superhero on this list.
