Reneé Rapp is a singer-songwriter and actress who was born on January 10, 2000. She performed in her high school theater program before transferring to the Northwest School of the Arts. Her combination of musical talent and sincere emotional acting landed her the Best Actress award at the Blumey Awards, for her portrayal of Sandra in her school’s production of Big Fish.
Rapp switched between musical and acting performances throughout 2018, and on May 28, 2019, it was announced that Rapp would be taking over the role of Regina George in Mean Girls. She started in a limited position before earning the permanent role in September 2019 until the production closed in March 2020.
Just seven months later, Rapp was cast as Leighton Murray, one of the four leads in the MAX series The Sex Lives of College Girls. She has starred in the first two seasons, but there are rumors she will not be one of the four showrunners for the third season.
