Quiet on Set is a documentary series that reveals the toxic culture behind iconic shows like iCarly, Drake and Josh, All That, The Amanda Show, and more. These shows aired between the late 1990s and early 2000s, and reveal the tumultuous environment actors had to endure behind the scenes.

For some, this meant dealing with the producer Dan Schneider as he created a toxic workplace filled with inappropriate comments and advances. For others, it meant dealing with abuse from their acting coaches and having to push through the pain. These episodes reveal not only the shows that were affected but the children too.

What Episode of Quiet on Set is Drake Bell in?

One of the most affected actors during this time was Drake Bell, and after seeing the first episodes of Quiet on Set, he made his screen appearance to talk about some of the horrors he had to endure. This happens in episode five, “Breaking the Silence,” and Bell is joined by other child actors Giovonnie Samuels, Bryan Hearne, and Shane Lyons.

Bell specifically talks about experiencing years of abuse from former Nickelodeon dialogue coach and actor Brian Peck. Peck had been arrested nearly two decades prior for his harassment, but it has taken this long for Bell to finally feel “comfortable” enough to come out and talk about his experiences.
