If you are like me and grew up in the ’90s, you’re regularly looking for some nostalgic movies from those good old days — and this is where Disney Plus rules. The new streamer is loaded with some of the biggest, family-friendly hits from every decade.
Here are the 15 best 90s movies you can nostalgia-binge on, all on Disney Plus — ranked in order of Rotten Tomatoes audience scores. This list does not include classic Disney animations, Marvel, Star Wars, or movies from Pixar.

15. Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (24 percent)
Rotten Tomatoes audiences are cruel. It’s no Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, but 24 percent is harsh. Rick Moranis alone deserves 25 percent. Say what you want about its simple plot, ’90s visual effects, and cheesy one-liners — it sums up the ’90s perfectly. Big, messy, and full-on ridiculous.
14. Flubber (33 percent)
C’mon, Flubber is better than this. It has slapstick comedy, decent effects for a 90’s flick, and most importantly, Robin Williams. Even though he’s not at his best in this film, you can’t take your eyes off him. It’s got all the ingredients a fun family movie needs — and a flying Alexa.
13. Air Bud (45 percent)
If you enjoy puppies and sports, Air Bud is a great 90s movie to put on. In this Air Bud film, a young boy becomes friends with a talented stray dog who becomes his best friend and knows how to play basketball. When Josh gets accepted onto the school team and Buddy becomes the Team Mascot, everything seems to fall into place. That is until Buddy’s former owner Norm Snively comes along to cash in on Buddy’s new celebrity status.

12. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (62 percent)
Jump into the world of science fiction with Zenon as she tries to save her home. Living on a space station in 2049, Zenon is trouble-prone and gets in trouble with the station’s owner Parker Windom. Her punishment? Get sent down to Earth for her exile, where she must make new friends and figure out a way to find her way back to her “real” home.
11. The Rocketeer (65 percent)
The Rocketeer is as cliche as they come. If you’re after a simple ’90s boy-saves-girl storyline then look no further. A young pilot finds a rocket pack and the rest is 1930s B-movie-style action, including gangsters, Nazi spies, and some cutting-edge effects (for its time).
10. Sister Act (65 percent)
There’s something about a Reno lounge singer hiding out with nuns that makes me happy. Could it be the uplifting songs, bumbling gangsters, or Whoopi Goldberg’s smile? No. It’s all down to my sister, who “encouraged” me to sing along as a teen. I’ll leave that for therapy and just say, it’s a feel-good movie that each year, by chance, ends up on my screen.

9. Iron Will (67 percent)
Iron Will is an inspiring story about a boy trying to save his house and his land after his father passes, by enlisting in a cross-country dogsled race. If you enjoy feel-good movies that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this movie is perfect for you. Watch as Will Stoneman gathers his courage and a strong will to compete in the race, trying to win for his mother and his home.
8. 10 Things I Hate About You (69 percent)
Who could have predicted the trajectory that the late Heath Ledger was on when watching this movie? Regardless, 10 Things I Hate About You is a great teen comedy, packed with fun characters —Bogey Lowenstein definitely included. Many of the main cast went on to do great shows and movies, including Numb3rs, Gotham, and The Dark Knight. How this movie only gets 69 percent is beyond me. It should be on every teen’s watchlist.
7. Father of the Bride (70 percent)
A remake of the Spencer Tracy classic, Father of the Bride focuses on George and Nina Banks, who are the parents of young wife-to-be Annie. George isn’t sure he is ready to let Annie go and face that she is a woman, which combined with preparations for the wedding leads to hilariously comedic moments.
6. Cool Runnings (81 percent)
Cool Runnings is based loosely on true Olympic events and tells the story of the first Jamaican bobsleigh team. Starring John Candy, the movie is a non-stop barrel of laughs and ends with one of the most memorable scenes in movie history. Having a hopeless crush on a handsome commuter who passes by her booth, Lucy is a loner and Chicago Transit ticket booth operator who is about to have quite the life change. When her crush falls off the platform Lucy jumps into action, saving him and being mistaken as his fiancée at the hospital. Now, Lucy must weave through his questioning family and figure out a way to save herself.

Based on the true story of young Ruby Bridges, watch as she becomes one of the first African-American children to attend an integrated school in the Deep South. Though several people are in an uproar about Ruby joining an all-white school, some people decide to help her — teacher Barbara Henry and Dr. Robert Coles, a child psychiatrist.

Splash stars Tom Hanks (Big) and Darryl Hannah (Roxanne) and is a romantic fantasy that’s family-friendly. If anyone you know loves mermaids, or love stories, then this is a movie for them.
