Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ launched on November 12th, yet a handful of great movies weren’t on the service immediately. Coco was one of them. Is Coco on Disney+ now? Yes, yes it is. Hooray!
Because of a 2016 deal between Netflix and Disney, Netflix had exclusive streaming rights to the movie until the end of November, 2019.
Mama Coco, Miguel, Hector, and Ernesto de la Cruz made their Disney+ debut on November 29th, 2019.
Nothing’s More Important Than Family
If you have yet to see Coco, take some time now. It’s definitely a Top 5 Pixar movie up there with Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Inside Out.
Here’s a summary of Coco:
In Disney/Pixar’s vibrant tale of family, fun and adventure, aspiring young musician named Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) embarks on an extraordinary journey to the magical land of his ancestors. There, the charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael Garcia Bernal) becomes an unexpected friend who helps Miguel uncover the mysteries behind his family’s stories and traditions.

The Mouse House is bringing out all the bells, whistles and stunning visuals, which means Coco will be presented on Disney+ in 4K, HDR, and Dolby Atmos.
You won’t have to pay extra for higher quality, either. The $6.99 monthly price tag of Disney+ will offer the best possible presentation of Coco in terms of video and audio quality.
