4. Rubber, 2010

Indie horror films usually have the best kind of thrills and scares, and Rubber did a decent enough job to receive positive reviews from critics when it premiered at the Critics’ Week in the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Starring Stephen Spinella, Roxana Mesquida, Jack Plotnick, Haley Ramm, and more, Rubber focuses on a tire that comes to life and kills people with psychokinetic powers. 2. The Handmaiden, 2016

The Handmaiden is a great example and is an interesting historical psychological thriller to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. When he receives an unexpected letter from his estranged father requesting a visit, Norval makes the trip, hoping to reconnect and find emotional fulfillment.
