Actors come in a wide range of heights, fitting their roles seamlessly and becoming new characters. We recently covered the shortest prominent actors in our last article, but who doesn’t like when the leading men tower over their costars? We sure do, and we have curated a list of the more recent tallest actors in Hollywood and their upcoming roles in 2024.

15. Vincent D’Onofrio (6’3″)
Vincent D’Onofrio has been in the film industry for decades, both as an actor and as a filmmaker. You might recognize him as Kingpin in the 2024 Marvel series Echo, and in the series Daredevil as the same character. His most recent appearance was in the movie Lift, playing the “master” of disguise Denton.

14. John Krasinski (6’3″)
Our next tall actor is quite recognizable from his role in The Office as Jim Halpert, but John Krasinski is a well-known actor and filmmaker for several other films. These include A Quiet Place I & II, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. His most recent appearance will be later this year in IF, a movie about imaginary friends that Krasinski is both producing and acting in.

13. Will Ferrell (6’3″)
Hilarious comedian and actor, Will Ferrell is a household name when it comes to prominent comedy films. Just some of these titles include Stepbrothers, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Anchorman: The Legend of John Burgundy, and The Other Guys. His most recent appearance was as the CEO of Mattel in the blockbuster hit Barbie that came out in 2023.

12. Hugh Jackman (6’3″)
If you’re an X-Men fan, then you will recognize our twelfth-tallest actor. Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine in the franchise, appearing in both solo films like Logan and group films like X-Men: Apocalypse. He recently co-starred in the limited series Faraway Downs on Hulu and is slated to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool & Wolverine, premiering in 2024.

11. Chris Hemsworth (6’3″)
Chris Hemsworth is most recognized in the Marvel Universe, playing Asgardian Thor who becomes part of the Avengers in later films. In addition to the Marvel franchise, Hemsworth has starred in several other films like the Extraction franchise, Spiderhead, Men in Black: International, and Ghostbusters. Keep an eye out for him in 2024, since he will be acting in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers One.

10. Jared Padalecki (6’4″)
Also known as Sam Winchester to Supernatural fans, Jared Padalecki played the character for over a decade. Along with his appearance as a supernatural crime fighter, Padalecki appeared in Walker, Cry Wolf, House of Wax, and Gilmore Girls. Though he doesn’t have anything slated for 2024 yet, we are excited to see where he goes in his acting career.

9. Ben Affleck (6’4″)
If you watched the Super Bowl, then you saw this “DunKing” in action. Ben Affleck is well-known for dating Jennifer Lawrence, but he also has a prominent acting career. His more recent films include Air, Hypnotic, Clerks III, and Deep Water. He has one confirmed project in 2024 titled This is Me… Now that has completed production.

8. Josh Duhamel (6’4″)
I first watched Josh Duhamel in the Transformers franchise, playing Colonel William Lennox as he fought several Decepticons to protect Earth. Along with this star-studded appearance, Duhamel has also acted in Safe Haven, Shotgun Wedding, Love Simon, and Spaceman. His newest film in 2024 is titled Not Without Hope and is in post-production.

7. Jason Momoa (6’4″)
Aquaman has appeared on our list of tallest actors! Jason Momoa is 6’4″ inches tall and plays the underwater DC Superhero, which had its newest installment last year with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. In addition to his DC appearances, Momoa has been in several films including Slumberland, Fast X, Dune, and The Bad Batch. Though he is not confirmed for any films in 2024, he may be in the 2025 Minecraft movie.

6. Armie Hammer (6’5″)
Armie Hammer is most recognizable for his part in Call Me By Your Name alongside Timothée Chalamet, but he has appeared in several other great films. These include The Lone Ranger, The Social Network, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and Death on the Nile. Currently, there are no 2024 projects for Armie Hammer, yet we cannot speak too soon.

5. Vince Vaughn (6’5″)
Prolific producer and actor, Vince Vaughn is an actor who plays in both comedic and action-packed films. As a producer, he has worked on movies and TV shows, including F Is For Family, The Opening Act, and Give Us This Day. As an actor, you can see Vaughn in films like Queenpins, North Hollywood, Hacksaw Ridge, Wedding Crashers, and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

4. Winston Duke (6’5″)
M’Baku is one of my favorite characters in the Black Panther franchise; fighting for his people but also understanding that some fights are best fought against the true enemy. The actor behind the character, Winston Duke, has been in several other films including Nine Days, Us, Spenser Confidential, and Avengers: Endgame. You will see him on the big screen again in the 2024 film The Fall Guy.

3. Jeff Goldblum (6’5″)
When I first watched Jurassic Park, one of my favorite characters was Jeff Goldblum who played Malcolm, a sarcastic and hilariously angry scientist who doesn’t want to get eaten by a dinosaur. In addition to the Jurassic Park franchise, Goldblum is the Grandmaster in the Marvel Universe, both in animated and live-action formats. Get ready, because his next performance in 2024 will be in one of the most anticipated films of the year – Wicked.

2. Jacob Elordi (6’5″)
Steadily rising to the forefront of Hollywood headlines, Jacob Elordi has won the hearts of several women with his most recent performances in both Saltburn and Priscilla. I first watched Elordi in The Kissing Booth trilogy, as he played older brother Noah who falls in love with Elle. He is also quite popular in the Euphoria TV series playing Nate Jacobs, and we cannot wait to see where he appears next!

1. Dwayne Johnson (6’5″) / Hollywood’s Tallest Actors
Our final tallest actor is also known as “The Rock,” and has a huge presence in the fighting and acting world. Dwayne Johnson has appeared in a variety of film genres including action, adventure, and comedy. One of my favorite appearances of his is in Jumanji as Spencer, a shy kid who gets sucked into a game while in detention. Johnson has also appeared in Black Adam, Fast X, Baywatch, Central Intelligence, Jungle Cruise, and Red Notice, just to name a few. He is rumored to be voicing Maui in the film Moana 2, coming out later this year.
