Even if you haven’t watched any of the Jurassic Park movies, you probably recognize the theme song created by John Williams. Exploring the idea of bringing dinosaurs back to life, each film reveals the dangers and awe of these long-dead creatures. Whether you have watched all the films or not, check out our ranking of all six Jurassic Park movies from worst to best.
6. Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Sixth on our list is the most recent film, Jurassic Park World Dominion. The plot gets a little muddy from a large cast and various dinosaurs which takes away from the overall appeal of the film.
World Dominion takes place four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar. Owen and Claire take in Maisie Lockwood and keep a low profile. But when Maisie goes missing, Owen and Claire must find her and confront Biosyn owner Lewis Dodgson. Joining the hunt is the original cast Ellie Sattler, Alan Grant, and Ian Malcolm, who are trying to expose Dodgson’s dangerous schemes.

5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Taking fifth on the Jurassic Park movies list is the Fallen Kingdom, set three years after the Jurassic World theme park was closed down. The film brings in a completely new idea of gene hacking and manipulation but loses a few points for somewhat confusing plotlines.
Returning to the island after three years, Owen and Claire prepare to save the dinosaurs left as a once dormant volcano on the island is threatening to eliminate all life there. While trying to save the dinosaurs, Owen also searches for Blue, unknowingly discovering a conspiracy that could disrupt the natural order of the planet.

4. Jurassic Park III (2001)
Next on our Jurassic Park movies list goes back to the original trilogy with Jurassic Park III. This film was a fresh spin on returning to the island but lacked some of the big terrors of the remaining films on this list.
Dr. Alan Grant is happy to be away from the dangerous incidents of Jurassic Park, even announcing he will never return to the islands. When Paul Kirby and his wife Amanda ask Grant to be their guide over the island, he thinks nothing of the real reason Kirby asked him on this trip. As the plane lands on the island and encounters one of the many deadly creatures, Grant realizes he is once again stuck in a world he swore he would never come back to.

2. Jurassic World (2015)
Finding its spot in the top two Jurassic Park movies is Jurassic World, set twenty-two years after the original Jurassic Park failed on Isla Nublar. Built on the original site, Jurassic World is open for business, drawing in thousands of visitors every day. 1. Jurassic Park (1993)
Last but not least on our Jurassic Park movies list is the original Jurassic Park. While the CGI technology is not as good as in recent films, the storyline and wonder, combined with the iconic theme song, is what makes this film unforgettable.
Wealthy businessman John Hammond and a team of genetic scientists have created a wildlife park full of once-extinct dinosaurs. Inviting paleontologists Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcolm to the island along with his grandchildren, Hammond believes the trip will be a great way to show off the park. However, industrial sabotage leads to a shutdown of the park’s power facilities and security precautions, leaving the small group of visitors at the mercy of the dinosaurs.
