Blu is a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, taken from the wild by smugglers when he was little. Though he never learned to fly, Blu lives a happy life with his human friend Linda as the last of his kind. That is until word gets out there is another Blu Macaw in Rio de Janeiro, so Blue and Linda go to meet her. When the two birds get captured by animal smugglers, they must work together to earn their freedom and get back to Linda.

3. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009)
Ice Age joins the list in our third spot for the best Blue Sky Productions movies with Dawn of the Dinosaurs. After The Meltdown, life has changed a lot for our furry main characters. Manny and Ellie are expecting a baby, Diego is pondering the idea that he has become too laid back, and Sid wishes for his own family. When Sid finds a trio of dinosaur eggs, he takes them as his own until the mother comes for them. As Sid is dragged into the strange underground world that dates back to prehistoric times, Sid’s herd must rescue him before it’s too late.
