Where Was Lohan Before Her Comeback?
After leaving Hollywood, Lohan briefly lived in London before making a home in Dubai. She lives there with her family, the love of her life, Shammas, and their son Luai. While meeting her husband is a huge part of why she loves Dubai, Lohan has found comfort in the city where there are no paparazzi or cameras, a direct switch from Hollywood.
The couple married in 2022 after dating for three years and welcomed their first child, Luai, into the world in July 2023. Lindsay Lohan Comeback with Netflix
In a move that surprised and thrilled dedicated Lindsay Lohan fans, the talented actress returned to the acting world in 2022 by signing a deal with Netflix. She has since produced three films with the streaming service, including Falling for Christmas, Irish Wish, and Our Little Secret. Check out what each film entails below.
Falling for Christmas
In Falling into Christmas, Lohan plays a newly engaged heiress, Sierra Belmont, who has access to every luxury she could imagine. But, when she suffers a skiing accident, Sierra is diagnosed with amnesia and is taken into the care of handsome cabin owner Jake Russell and his daughter Avy. As Sierra tries to remember who she is and she if anyone finds her, she finds something else while staying with Jake.
Irish Wish
Lohan’s second Netflix appearance brings her to the shores of Ireland in Irish Wish. When Maddie (Lohan) watches the love of her life get engaged to her best friend, she puts her feelings aside to become a bridesmaid at their wedding. Before the couple are to marry, Maddie makes a wish for true love, and wakes up the next morning as the bride-to-be instead. With her dreams seemingly coming true, they are thrown off the rails when Maddie meets another, who could be her true soulmate.

Our Little Secret
The most recent Lindsay Lohan comeback film from Netflix is Our Little Secret, a wildly entertaining Christmas comedy. Avery (Lohan) and Logan have not spoken in the ten years since they broke up. As the Christmas season nears, the two realize their partners are siblings, and the exes must stay with the family for the holidays. Avery suggest they keep their past a secret, but it turns out to be much harder than it seems, especially when old sparks reignite.
Future Lindsay Lohan Projects
Of course, we want to know when the Lindsay Lohan comeback continues. While future films with Netflix are not planned as of now, there is an exciting new project on Lohan’s radar. Starring alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in the 2003 film Freaky Friday, Lohan and Curtis will be reprising their roles in a sequel titled Freakier Friday.
The filmed is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2025, and already has long-time Lohan fans excited. While not many details have been released yet, Disney did release an official synopsis: “The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”
