This animated movie from Illumination studios was a spin-off from beloved movie series, Dispicable Me, where the yellow creatures were first introduced.

This movie focused on these creations, just reinforcing fans’ love for them. The Minion movie followed three minions serving a villain and their adventures.

Another sequel movie, this film brought both a new look into a classic film, but also an incredibly new adventure that all generations could enjoy. Top Gun: Maverick focuses on Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell (Tom Cruise) as he becomes an instructor for the U.S. Navy-Fighter Weapons School.

Here, Maverick is confronted with his past as he realizes one of these training pilots is the son of his deceased best friend, Goose. This is a nostalgic film that deserves a spot in the highest-grossing movies.

The Lion King live-action is just like the original animated movie.

Simba, the prince, flees his kingdom after the murder of his father only to learn the truth about what happened.
