Yoga Hosers is about Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie, two friends from Winnipeg who spend their days doing yoga and scrolling through social media. When the two girls are invited to a senior party, everything seems to be going well until they uncover an ancient evil lying beneath the Manitoban ground.

Butler takes a larger role next to Miranda Cosgrove in The Intruders. Cosgrove plays Rose, a disturbed twenty-year-old who’s just lost her mom and moves into an old house with her dad. She learns from neighbor Leila that the previous owner’s daughter disappeared, and she begins to dig into what happened. Butler comes in as Rose’s new boyfriend Noah, a constructor who is refurbishing the house. When odd things happen in the house Rose’s dad blames her, but is there something else at play?

Straight out of High School Musical, our tenth Austin Butler movie selection stars Sharpay Evans as she tries to make it big in New York. Sharpay is creating a new path in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure as she travels to New York City trying to land a leading role in Broadway. But life’s not as easy as she thought, and her dog ends up getting a gig first. Butler stars as a possible love interest for Sharpay.

A group of teenage girls are about to graduate from high school and are dealing with big life changes like leaving their best friends and the death of loved ones. As they try to figure out their lives, a bit of comedic relief comes in the form of them getting stoned while listening to hip-hop.

Sitting in seventh is The Bling Ring, where Butler stars as one of several teenagers who get in over their heads. The teenagers decide to break into celebrity’s houses and steal their belongings just to feel what a rich life would be like. As they continue to break into more houses the stakes are raised, as well as the chance of getting caught.

One of my favorite movies when I was a child was Aliens in the Attic. I didn’t realize that Butler played one of the leading roles in this movie until recently, but he did a great job in this hilarious caper between kids and aliens. Stuart Pearson and his family rent out an old lake house, and when the television dish isn’t working they discover alien invaders have crash-landed on the house. Since the aliens can mind control only adults, it’s up to the kids to find their weaknesses and save Earth.

Climbing into number five for our Austin Butler movies is The Dead Don’t Die, a film in which he plays a supporting role. The town of Centerville is quite peaceful and bland until a series of events leads them straight into peril. When Chief Robertson and Officer Peterson discover the blood-soaked scene in a local cemetery they realize there are blood-thirsty zombies in their midst. As the town comes together to fight off the beasts, they will have to figure out what happens when the dead don’t want to die.

Elvis is the most prominent Austin Butler movie on our list and the one that rocketed Butler into the acting limelight. The film follows the life of American music icon Elvis Presley, from his childhood struggles to becoming a rock star in the 1950s. Throughout the whole film, there is also the undercurrent of the complex relationship between Elvis and his manager Colonel Tom Parker. It’s a movie that should be added to the top of your watchlist.

The Bikeriders is one of Butler’s more recent films where he stars with Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, and Norman Reedus. The film charts the rise of the midwestern motorcycle club the Vandals. Filmed through the eyes and lives of its members, the Vandals go from a place for local outsiders to a more sinister gang that threatens the original group’s way of life.

Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood follows TV star Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth as they try to navigate a completely changed film industry. Along with the two main characters, director Quentin Tarantino brings in a large cast to weave multiple storylines into the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

Our last selection for Austin Butler movies is none other than his most recent appearance as Feyd-Rautha in Dune: Part Two. Butler’s performance is unlike anything else we’ve seen from him as he plays a cruel and treacherous nephew to Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. The film continues the story of Paul Atreides, this time as he unites with Chani and the Fremen to seek revenge for those who destroyed his family.
