Indiana bill would force Colts to offer refunds to offended fans

A bill introduced in the Indiana State Legislature by Republican Milo Smith would force the Indianapolis Colts to offer refunds to fans offended by this year’s National Anthem protests.

No. Really.

“To me when they take a knee during the national anthem, it’s not respecting the national anthem or our country,” Smith said, via the Indy Star . “Our government isn’t perfect, but it’s still the best country in the world and I think we need to be respectful of it.”

Boy, do we have a bunch of snowflakes on our hands here. If you’re offended by the National Anthem protests, here’s a recommendation. Don’t dole out hundreds of dollars to attend an NFL game.

Heck, maybe pull a Mike Pence and leave the stadium because you’re so offended by players exercising their constitutional rights and need your safe place.

Just some food for thought.
